Venous Materials project envisions a new way to design dynamic tangible interactions using fluidic Interfaces. It is a new type of interactive material that is inspired by veins systems in nature and throughout the human body. When the user applies pressure or motion to the material, it dynamically displays geometric patterns and colors. The different patterns are displays that function as tangible sensors, to animate dynamic graphics, to create responsive objects for learning activities, and to visualize body movement and balance.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning interface. Venous Materials exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in interface, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention. Its inherent brilliance made our promotional efforts remarkably effective – the design's outstanding qualities spoke volumes on their own, requiring only minimal exposure to gain widespread recognition. The immediate positive response from industry experts and media alike confirmed what we already knew: truly exceptional design has an innate ability to captivate and inspire.
