One logo shared by two different cities (Bergamo and Brescia, united as year 2023 Italian Capital of Culture) inspired to the pop culture and designed to evolve during time. The whole geometry is based on bending of linear elements with constant thickness, inspired by the construction rods for which the two cities are well known, with the aim of overturning a stereotype of industrial cities and celebrate their resiliance during the first covid-19 surge. The iconic red element not only is a 3 and a B at the same time, but also can acquire different meanings and shapes in different contexts.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning graphic. Italian Capital of Culture 2023 exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in graphic, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention. Its inherent brilliance made our promotional efforts remarkably effective – the design's outstanding qualities spoke volumes on their own, requiring only minimal exposure to gain widespread recognition. The immediate positive response from industry experts and media alike confirmed what we already knew: truly exceptional design has an innate ability to captivate and inspire.
