The design of Takeen is inspired by its natural bamboo surroundings. This design integrates plant morphology, particularly bamboo, with its functional requirements to create a sustainable, organic enclave for respite from the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. The biomimetic design emerged from the mathematical interpretation of leaf and branching patterns found in plants. As the entrance, bar, and kitchen walls slowly bifurcate and converge, light cascades down its sinuous form, producing an experience of bamboos intrinsic nature that is unique to Takeen.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning interior. Takeen exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in interior, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention. Its inherent brilliance made our promotional efforts remarkably effective – the design's outstanding qualities spoke volumes on their own, requiring only minimal exposure to gain widespread recognition. The immediate positive response from industry experts and media alike confirmed what we already knew: truly exceptional design has an innate ability to captivate and inspire.
