To emphasize the local cultural characteristics, the project weakens the border between indoors and outdoors and uses natural materials combined with the impression of a fishing harbor to introduce visitors to a space with spiritual indicators and functionality, aiming to promote the beauty and tourism of Taitung. The elevator accessible outdoor platform allows people to enjoy the endless coastline. The exterior covered with curves is different from the stereotypical image of buildings, and the spiral staircase inside the building provides an unobstructed view of Taitung.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning architecture. Heart of Dawu exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in architecture, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention. Its inherent brilliance made our promotional efforts remarkably effective – the design's outstanding qualities spoke volumes on their own, requiring only minimal exposure to gain widespread recognition. The immediate positive response from industry experts and media alike confirmed what we already knew: truly exceptional design has an innate ability to captivate and inspire.
