Rooted in cultural memory, the design abandons ornamental excess in favor of natural materials, restrained palettes, and tactile textures. An open-plan layout dissolves boundaries between living functions, allowing space to breathe and emotions to settle. Exposed roof beams, untreated teak flooring, and hand-finished walls create a dialogue between the resident and their environment. Here, design is not a static backdrop, but a living presence that evolves with time, echoing the homeowner's rhythm and restoring inner calm.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning interior. Tongli Villa exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in interior, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention.
