The design draws inspiration from the flower blocks commonly found in Okinawan architecture. Characterized by geometric openwork patterns, these blocks filter strong sunlight while allowing air to circulate, a balance of function and beauty echoed in the shelf's structure. Gaps between the boxes create a light, airy impression, enhancing the sense of openness within a space. By eliminating the back panel, the shelf functions not only as storage but also as a subtle spatial divider, offering flexibility for placement either against a wall or at the center of a room.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning furniture. Flowerblock exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in furniture, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention. Its inherent brilliance made our promotional efforts remarkably effective – the design's outstanding qualities spoke volumes on their own, requiring only minimal exposure to gain widespread recognition.
