Planned international school campus in Yokohama, Japan. The design interprets Japanese rice terraces as a spatial system for learning. A stepped mass rises from north to south to satisfy strict shadow regulations while stacking planted roof terraces as daily learning landscapes. A central skylight and atrium bring daylight deep into the plan and organize circulation as a shared spine for encounters. Wood louvers filter light and views, giving the architecture a quiet Japanese character. Transparent classroom fronts and terraces support outdoor learning, retreat, curiosity, and exchange.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning architecture. YN International School exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in architecture, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention. Its inherent brilliance made our promotional efforts remarkably effective – the design's outstanding qualities spoke volumes on their own, requiring only minimal exposure to gain widespread recognition.
