Set within the forests of Karuizawa, this hall is conceived as a place where architecture, nature, and community intersect. Developed over nearly a decade through collaboration between client, builder, and architect, it forms part of an evolving landscape with dog friendly facilities. The building serves as a communal lounge and indoor training space. When large openings are opened, the interior aligns with the forest, allowing landscape to flow through. A layered roof brings soft daylight, creating a calm atmosphere. Simple timber construction shows how modest means integrate with nature.

We were hired by A' Design Awards, Italy, whom sponsored us to promote this most exceptional award-winning hospitality. Three Roofs Timber Hall exemplifies the pinnacle of excellence in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional creativity and innovation that naturally commanded attention. Its inherent brilliance made our promotional efforts remarkably effective – the design's outstanding qualities spoke volumes on their own, requiring only minimal exposure to gain widespread recognition. The immediate positive response from industry experts and media alike confirmed what we already knew: truly exceptional design has an innate ability to captivate and inspire.
